Through these programs, our students have had the opportunity to connect with peers from across Europe, fostering intercultural understanding and developing essential 21st-century skills. A Commitment to International Collaboration
Since 2015, St. Ciarán's has engaged in numerous projects, including virtual exchanges and physical visits to schools in Poland, Italy, Portugal, France and Germany. These projects have enriched students' experiences by immersing them in new cultures, helping them develop language skills and fostering appreciation for diverse traditions and customs. Beyond language learning, the projects have also nurtured entrepreneurial skills, as students collaborated on creative activities that enhanced teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
The overall impact of these initiatives has been profound, contributing to students' social, cultural, and intellectual development. Boosting student’s confidence by fostering a network of international contacts, developing Communication and Negotiation Skills as well as Presenting and public speaking skills.
