The senior girls kicked off their new season today with a hard-fought match against Rathcairn. The girls tried hard and never gave up in very sunny conditions.
For many, this is their debut in football and acquitted themselves well so we are incredibly proud of you.
Unfortunately Rathcairn proved to be too strong for us on the day and displayed some lovely passages of play. We thank them for the great spirit in which the match was played.
As for the St Ciaran’s team, we go back to the training ground hoping to improve our skills and have some more fun along the way. Well done girls, shake it off and come back stronger!
Thanks to the Credit Union Kells for sponsoring our new jerseys and massive thanks also to Ms. Eimear McEnroe and Ms. Miriam Byrne for giving up their time to train the girls.
Training on Tuesdays after school, and all girls in the school are more than welcome to take part!
