This week, our Transition Year class 4A hit the ground running with the launch of their Driver Education program! The students began their journey towards becoming safe, responsible road users by covering a wide range of topics aimed at preparing them for the road ahead.
Throughout the week, students learned about the basics of car mechanics, giving them a better understanding of how vehicles operate. They also delved into the driver theory test, an essential step for any future driver, and gained practical knowledge on important aspects of car ownership, such as buying, taxing, and insuring a vehicle.
In addition to car-focused lessons, students also received guidance on safely operating e-scooters, a popular mode of transport among young people today.
Congratulations to the dedicated students of 4A for successfully completing the program! We’re excited to announce that the Driver Education team will be back with us in the coming weeks to work with classes 4B and 4C, ensuring more TY students are equipped with valuable knowledge and skills for safe driving.
