St Ciaran’s Seniors put in a very strong team performance against St Mels, Longford Seniors, with the entire squad working hard, supporting each other, and playing together throughout the game to secure a 39–24 victory. Euan Carolan scored an impressive hat-trick, including a standout full-pitch run from the kick-off. Eliot Morris crossed the line after a smart lineout move, breaking through the opposition’s 10 channel. Joshua Brainard finished a well-taken try following a kick from inside our own half. Oscar Vitkaskas showed great strength, taking the ball from a ruck and using a strong hand-off to reach the try line. Eoin Ennis powered over with a determined pick-and-go from the ruck, making a strong run up the pitch with multiple hand-offs. Paddy White controlled the game well with his kicking, while Daragh Rock stood out defensively with big, physical tackles. Overall, the whole team performed extremely well, working together in both attack and defence to earn a deserved win for St Ciaran’s Senior Rugby Team.
