Well done to our senior footballers who clinched the North Leinster final against Gallen CS Ferbane with a brilliant performance. They were driven on by outstanding support throughout, and the lads earned a well-deserved four-point victory. This marks the first senior schools’ title in nearly 30 years, since the great late Pat Duffy was the driving force behind that success. Today’s team of 2026 built a three-point lead at half-time, thanks to an early goal, and extended it to seven with ten minutes remaining before Ferbane fought back to leave it a two-point game with time nearly up. Two late scores and some outstanding defending secured this century’s first senior schools win. The lads will face the winners of the Dublin region final in the Leinster final at the end of the month. Well done to everyone.
