Hard luck to our second year boys who were defeated by Killbeggan Mercy in the first round of the North Leinster Cup Competition. A very tight game with St Ciarans ahead at half time but with a strong breeze in the second half Kilbeggan kept putting the St Ciaran's defence under pressure. St Ciarans will have the chance to redeem themselves on Tuesday at home against Rathangan Kildare. An exceptional effort by all including some big scores by Senan Arkins, Killian Madden and Harry Harte. Plenty to learn for the lads heading into the next game.
