Goethe Institut Dublin

First Year German students had a fantastic German lesson with a difference when they visited the Goethe Institut Dublin ‘Inventions from Germany’ exhibition on Friday February 26th 2016. They learned how inventions that we take for granted today - like the computer, the television, aspirin - emanated from the ingenious minds of German inventors like Konrad Zuse and Karl Benz. The interactive displays really engaged the learners and the friendly and professional facilitators, Anna and Konstantin, were very impressed with the students, with one commenting on how good they were at saying their dates in German! A quick, windswept stroll along the pier in Dún Laoghaire rounded off a very successful and enjoyable learning experience. Vielen Dank!
