Stand Up Awareness Week 16th - 20th November

The Student Council have organised a number of activities for Stand-Up Awareness Week which will take place next week the 16th of November to the 20th of November to raise awareness of LGBTQIA& and promote inclusion. 
 
Things that are happening;
 
  • Poster competition- students can submit posters to their tutors raising awareness of LGBTQIA& and inclusion by Wednesday the 18th. Prizes will be given out on Friday the 20th.
  • Teachers wearing pride flag colours on the 20th.
  • LGBTQIA& awareness lesson in SPHE.
  • LGBT&IA& videos in tutorial.
  • Stickers and stamps distributed to students on morning on the 20th
  • Display of Pride flag outside school.
