Parents Association AGM, Thursday 10th October, 7:30pm, St. Ciarans CS. All parents/guardians welcom to attend.
Open Night on Thursday 10th October, 2019
from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
The school welcomes 6th class primary girls and boys and
their parents/guardians. This is an opportunity to view the
wide range of subject options and modern educational
facilities available to prospective students.
6th year students will be attending the Times Higher Options Conference at the RDS Dublin on Thursday the 19th of September.
Information evening for Junior Certificate Parents/Guardians.
You are invited to attend the JCT information evening in the school gym on Tuesday 10th September at 7pm. During the meeting we will be discussing the outline of the Junior Cycle for 1st year parents. For 2nd and 3rd year parents we will be running through each Classroom Based Assessment (CBA) for each subject, and the Assessment Task (AT) that they will complete in 3rd year.
Following an extended tutorial period 1st years and their prefect/mentors will take part in a number of workshops to help them settle into St Ciarans CS. They will look at Wellbeing, ICT, Being Ready, Working with Others, Building Friendships and Managing Myself over the course of the day.
The Graduation Ceremony for TY students will take place on Thursday the 23rd of May at 7:30pm in St. Ciarans CS. All TY students and their families, along with Staff are invited to this evening.
The Graduation Ceremony and Mass for 6th years will take place on Wednesday the 22nd of May at 7:30pm in St. Ciarans CS. All 6th years and their families, along with Staff are invited to this evening.

TY ad 5th Year students will be attending the annual Student Leader Congress in the 3 Arena on Tuesday 9th April. (Speakers/acts include Kodaline, The Young Offenders, Dr Harry Barry)
A world famous visitor popped into St Ciarans today to show their support for our Schools Go Orange day this Friday.
