Every School Day Counts.
For the month of November St Ciarán’s CS will be participating in a TUSLA initiative entitled “Every School Day Counts’. We are asking all students to make a special effort with attendance for the 20 school days in November. Poor attendance negatively impacts on academic achievement, self confidence and mental health. We are asking all parents and guardians to also make a special effort in encouraging their son/daughter to attend school as frequently as possible this month. Certificates/prizes will be awarded to those students who achieve 100% attendance and those students who show the biggest improvement in attendance. Thank you for your co-opertaion and remember : “every school day counts”.
